Proudly, we have been asked to show this important work at the Coral Gables Museum. The site, a 1939 WPA building, was formerly an old police station and fire house and the remaining footprints of the cells are still visible. Now, the museum is a true public/private partnership between the City Of Coral Gables and the Coral Gables Museum Corp., a non profit educational cultural institution. Visitors can explore the building’s history, visit the former jail cells and courtroom. In 2010, additional galleries and outdoor spaces were created. These include the 3000 square foot Fewell Gallery as well as a 5000 square foot public plaza and courtyard off the main lobby.
The Compassion Project will took up residence in the Abraham Gallery for nine weeks June 7, 2019- September 23, 2019. The museum is located at 285 Aragon Ave. Coral Gables, FL 33134
